Badlands Passion Play - RSVP

We are exploring the possibility of organizing a group trip to the Badlands Amphitheatre in Drumheller this July to experience the Badlands Passion Play. Before we move forward with booking, we would love to know what level of interest there is within our congregation.  Please RSVP below if interested.

Here are the details we have so far:

The Dates we have chosen to go depending on interest level is July 18 or 19.

TICKET PRICING
  • Regular pricing: Adults $83, Seniors $72, Youth (ages 6–17) $59

  • Group discounts: 15% off for groups of 10–24, 20% off for groups of 25 or more

  • Additional fee: $7.50 ticket administration fee + GST

  • Parking: $8.40 per vehicle

TRAVEL & MEALS To help keep costs down, we are considering carpooling and bringing bagged lunches. For those who prefer, the Amphitheatre also offers a pre-show picnic lunch for $22 + GST. Meal options include:

  • Roast beef on a bun (cooked on-site)

  • Grilled chicken wrap

  • Cheeseburger (also cooked on site, with all the fixings. Each meal includes a bottle of water, crisps, and a dessert.

WHAT TO EXPECT The Passion Play is performed outdoors in the heart of the Badlands. Weather can change quickly, so please be prepared for both heat and rain. Umbrellas are not permitted inside the Amphitheatre, so raincoats are recommended. Hats and sun protection are strongly encouraged, as it can feel very much like the desert. Seat cushions are also helpful, as the performance is approximately 3 hours long with intermissions.
